Watch the following videos and/or follow the info-graphics to help you wear your baby wrap correctly.

Click here to jump to info-graphics showing how to put your baby into the wrap once it is tied on your body.

Putting on your wrap:

Step 1: To wear your wrap, find the center by locating the pocket and center it across your chest.

Step 2: Pull the straps behind you and cross in the back by exchanging each side between your hands.

Step 3: Lift your arms and pull each strap up and over your shoulders, creating an “X” shape on your back. Make sure the straps don’t twist.

Step 4: Now, bring the straps foreword and down through the front of the wrap. Criss-cross again, forming an “X” under the pocket.

Step 5: At this point, you want to ensure that everything is nice and snug. If the straps or the middle section feel loose or have extra fabric hanging, pull everything snug. When you wear a baby wrap, the spot where the “X” of fabric falls on the front of your body is where your baby’s bum will be. Make sure that this is at a good place for baby’s size, and will place him centered on your rib cage.

Step 6: Take both ends of the wrap and pull them snugly around your hips and behind your back, then cross in back.

Step 7: Bring the fabric back to the front and tie in a double knot, wherever is most comfortable for you and baby. If you have excess fabric, you can cross once more and tie in back if preferred.

Putting baby in your wrap:

Step 1: Locate the strap that is closest to your body. This is the side that you’ll put baby in first.

Step 2: Lift baby to the opposite shoulder. Grasp the strap closest to your body and slide baby’s leg through, positioning it under baby’s knee.

Step 3: Stretch fabric from baby’s knee-pit across to his other knee- pit, creating an “M” shape with his knees slightly higher than his bum.

Step 4: Grasp the other strap and bring it under baby’s other leg. Position it under baby’s other knee, as you did with the first side.

Step 5: Stretch fabric from baby’s knee-pit acroos to his other knee-pit, creating an “M” shape with his knees slightly higher than his bum.

Step 6: Grab the front panel with the pocket on it. Maneuver it over each leg, and then up baby’s back to the bottom of the neck. This gives support and keeps her back in it’s natural, upright position.
