The Pocaroo baby wrap was originally created by my sister-in-law when she discovered baby wearing with her third child. She LOVED wearing her son, but still needed somewhere to store all the things that came along with her and baby. Eventually, she created the very first Pocaroo baby wrap. With a 40% off JoAnn coupon and no knowledge of how to sew a zipper, she pressed on.
Pretty soon, she got me involved. I had a baby about a year after her and she gave me one of her homemade wraps. I fell in LOVE! It was so amazing. And with my background as a seamstress, I started envisioning all the ways to improve on her design.
Over the last 4 years, we have sewn, tested, and altered many different versions of the baby wrap we love and sell today. Once we perfected pocket size, found the perfect material, tried all kinds of colors, and reworked it from end to end, our kids had outgrown babywearing! That’s when we decided it was time to take this thing to other moms.
We began by giving wraps away as gifts to other moms we loved, and the feedback was amazing! They all loved their baby wrap, with it’s soft and breathable Tencel/Cupro fabric and, of course, with its amazing pocket to give them a hand. Our friends started asking where they could buy one! We were selling wraps to friends and neighbors, but, eventually it became too much to simply make and sell wraps as needed.
This is where CuteClara LLC was born. We needed to expand, get bigger and find our place in the babywrap market. We are excited to bring the Pocaroo babywrap to the world and cant wait for you to enjoy it as much as we have!
